Bane created a page so you can easily search by keywords to view my rants. I am sooo happy *points to menu* It's right over there.

Bane knows what a meme whore I am and tagged me on this Four Things page. There was only one thing to do.... make my OWN Four Things page. MUHAHAHA. Seriously, I love this shit. I spent over twenty minutes trying to find the origin of this meme and then gave up. Oh well, I'm just doing my job to keep this baby alive. *smiles*

Bane surprised me this morning by updating my Movable Type. It may look the same on the outside but admin section looks completely different. My comments finally work without that random filtering, my spam block is better and I got rid of all that track back crap. Seriously, I ONLY had spam on there. *sigh* It's those people who take the fun out of blogging.

Thirty years ago today a pasty white child was born into this world. As I look at the latest pictures of him I notice not much as changed. Bald and white as ever. :D

Bane has been my best friend and savior too many times to count and I trust him with everything. I hope you have a great day, Bane... and I will kill UPS if my present doesnt arrive there on Tuesday. *hugs*

Today was a very blonde day for me. I was trying to get an .AVI video to work and Pos offered to look at it for me. I sent it to him and then got this:

Pos: Diva
Diva: huh?
Pos: you just did a VERY blonde thing
Diva: SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Pos: haha

What I did was send him the icon for the .AVI video. *sigh* Later on I was talking to Bane about how he was dealing with the impending Hurricane heading straight for him and tried to make him feel better.

Diva: Did you get the tracking number for your birthday present that I sent?
Bane: ... It doesn't matter
Diva: Why not?
Bane: ....
Diva: What?
Bane: Because tomorrow we will be flooded and nothing's coming through. Then I'll be without power for up to a month afterwards.
Diva: Bu... At least you'll have it.
Bane: Yeah, I can stare at it sitting on my desk

Yeah, I suck....

My ear problems continue. I had a CT Scan on Friday to find out more about what's going on. I'm off for another week (with no sick time left) and the pain seems worse today. *sigh*

At least Bane finally gave me an updated stats to play with. *hugs stats* I love it! I've also entered the album art, artist art AND lyrics for all of my music on the MP3 Playlist that Bane created. I've been a busy little bee in pain. :p

Jake took off for a couple of hours to go watch the new Batman flick so I could spend some time alone. It's nice to just be able to kick back and relax for a while by myself. The downside is that I thought about him the whole time, hoping that he was enjoying himself.

I also got to harass Bane about basically everything and listen to him sing "This shit is bananas. B-a-n-a-n-a-s" over and over. Kill me now.

I've been having a ball with my new Music section. I spent my long weekend adding the album/artist art and websites to my playlist. The next thing I need to do is add the lyrics, but I'm taking my time on that one. Bane really out did himself this time. My music just got fun to listen to!

Lately I've been playing around with different geeky things on the web. When Bane first told me about Del.icio.us I thumbed my nose to it. I thought it was just double work for my bookmarks. Then one day I decided to reorginize my bookmarks. Talk about a nightmare. I am a total packrat and saving links is no exception. I had over 1600 links to go through, and over half of them ended up being dead links. Del.icio.us started looking real good to me about a third of the way through. Instead of searching through folder after folder to guess where I put a link I am able to click on my Del.icio.us page and search through terms. For instance: When I bookmarked iLL WiLL PreSS I used the terms "flash funny humor animation". That way I can find it by selecting anyone of those or a combination. It also shows how many other people linked that site.

I have only linked about 410 of my bookmarks. Some of the ones I left off are just silly sites I'll probably go through and delete the next time I get a wild hair up my ass. Oh yeah, and I left off some of my porn links. I'm selfish. Deal with it. :P

Yes, I am a dork. After nagging asking Bane for his 404 page addition he put it in. Now you can play on my 404 page too!

I've known Bane for a couple of years now. We met when I PMd him for help on a hack for my NCT forum. He became my best friend and savior when something went wrong. I wouldn't know half the shit I do today about websites without his encouragement. I have finally found a way of helping him. Everytime he creates something unique for his site, I want it. He's always graceful and sets it up, even though I know he wants to keep it to himself. The music section: His idea. The email form: His idea. The link queue: His latest idea. Soon, it will be mine. Oh yes, all mine. Muahahahaha!
