I want to get away for the weekend with Jake. Apparently that's easier said than done. I can't seem to find a place that's close enough to drive to or a decent enough price to stay at. *grumbles* Everywhere I've looked seems to be up north. No matter where I look, the place ends up being between six to eight hours away. That's too far for a weekend getaway. Airfare is too expensive and the hotels are so expensive that we'd be spending most of our time there. Hopefully something will pop up that is far enough away to relax but close enough away that we don't spend hours and hours on the road. *crosses fingers* The search continues.

We actually decided to go to Santa Barbara. It was either there or San Diego, but it will be cheaper to go to SB right now since I am going to be springing for the whole weekend and it's a tight month for us. :)

I hear SWFLA is nice this time of year...
