Thursday came and went without any formal update from my Boss. I quietly asked her how the meeting went and she gave me a thumbs up. WTF is that supposed to mean? By the end of the day I couldn't stand it and approached her in her office. She initially gave me the 'Don't worry about it' brush off. I retorted, "Don't worry? You take me to an hour lunch with talk of looking for another job and then it's a thumbs up and don't worry? Did he change his mind?" "Nothing's changed. If I am looking for a new job I will let you know." That was the end of our discussion. I was going to put off doing things until I knew what was going to happen. Now I feel like I should try doing them as quickly as possible so get them out of the way.
