Memory Leak From Hell
(April 04, 2006)
Okay, Firefox is REALLY starting to piss me off. The other night my computer went to a crawl. When I looked at the Task Manager I saw this: Firefox Mem usage: 139,680K. That's a bit much. The memory leak is more like a dam breaking at times. Then there's the constant shut downs. I'm surfing along, minding my own business when I get that annoying error message. Then *poof!* Firefox disappears. Now I have to restart and find the pages I lost. *grumbles* I'm starting to look forward to IE 7 more and more. Posted by Diva at April 4, 2006 06:18 PM

Go figure. Opera starts to look better all the time. You may want to look through your extensions and check on which may have memory leaks. I know there are quite a few that add to FF's already icky problem. Posted by: Bane at April 6, 2006 04:51 AM I'd love to. How do I check that? you might be interested in this, saves your session so when firefox does crash you can open it again and continue right where you left off all windows, tabs and so on still on what they was before the crash.
