Shalom, Little Mouse (February 28, 2006)

Once again my open mind is dented by hatred. A minister in Iran states Jews created Tom and Jerry as a PR stunt. I never thought of mice as a derogatory term. Then again I used to have one as a pet. How a simple cartoon changed into some devious plot is beyond me. It's like they were trying to brainstorm on ways to bring hatred back in the news and had a mental block.

I don't hate by race or religion. For the most part I don't 'hate' at all. I have friends from all walks of life that became close because of who they where inside. That's what matters. Have you ever met someone online and they turned out to be completely different than what you thought? Did that change your feelings for them? Sometimes I wish the world would go blind. Imagine not knowing who you were talking to. Would you welcome the conversation... or fear the chance it might be one of *them*?

That's why i limit my chats to "friends" who have cat blogs. If a cat is with you by choice (ie Hasn't clawed its way through a solid wood door to get away from your sorry ass), then you are good people. Too many people try to emote the dog view view of the world, which is everyone is your friend until they beat you senseless. Cats distrust everyone. You have to prove that you are at east their equal before they will even condescend to talk to you. and if they do, well then you can't shut them up.

Anyone who thinks that dogs are like men and cats are like women is misguided. A cat is more likely to nudge you awake at 3:00 am and then act like well since you are awake to you want to pet me.
